‘Eroticon’ by Daniela Klimešová, Susanne Kass and Fredrika Bistrom at Pragovka Gallery
Three women, three views, three linguistic levels of perception. Eroticon is an exaggerated show in all seriousness.
The exhibition confronts three artists and their relationship to eroticism and sex through images and/ or eroticism of everyday objects. They also but not exclusively play with ugliness, beauty, voyeurism, fetishism, fantasy and queer aspects of erotic image. For this exhibition the selected objects, photographs, collages, and installations, which can be perceived as erotic, just as they can be perceived completely asexually. They does not know what you like but does not prevent new experiences.
The big difference in the concept of eroticism is evidence of how it is impossible to objectify some of the themes. The erotic scale is vast, we all have our own vision.
